Leading Edge Alliance (LEA Global) Launches Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Program

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., March 10, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading Edge Alliance (LEA Global), one of the world's largest international accounting associations, is pleased to announce the launch of a formal Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Program to its members beginning March 11.

The goal of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) program is to set member firms on a path toward the creation and deployment of a DEI strategy and associated infrastructure that drives a more diverse, equitable and inclusive firm. This program is focused on assessment and goal setting. Participating member firms will be given tools to determine where their firm and culture currently stand and will help identify next steps as well as the ideal results the firm hopes to achieve. At the conclusion of the program, our members will have a general plan for goals and strategies to implement on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The program will include intensive two-hour workshops each month over the course of three months as well as a one-on-one session with consultant Trisha Daho to help identify appropriate action items and issue resolutions for each individual firm. The action items for each firm may vary based upon the individual firm's needs and current stage of DEI implementation. At the culmination of the program, each participating firm will receive a completed firm survey and analysis of needs, HR data analysis on equity metrics, prioritized action items necessary and goals for each as well as a detailed action plan to effectuate change.
